“Remember you’re my baby”

Il LUCCAdigitalPHOTOfest, in anteprima assoluta, presenta la mostra “Bye bye baby, Marylin”, un omaggio al simbolo della femminilità: Marilyn Monroe, circa 80 immagini da una collezione privata.
L'evento sarà a Palazzo Ducale a Lucca dal 20 novembre 2010 al 30 gennaio 2011.
La mostra che è dedicata al grande pubblico e agli appassionati della Diva si suddivide in tre sezioni: i grandi fotografi (Richard Avedon, George Barris, John Florea, Tom Kelley, Bert Stern); professione e vita privata (immagini di fotografi professionisti degli studi cinematografici per la pubblicità dei film e immagini che raccontano i vari momenti della vita di Marilyn); ‘Marilyn e il desiderio collettivo’ (la riaffermazione del mito attraverso una serie di oggetti rari e divertenti ispirati alla diva).

The LUCCAdigitalPHOTOfest, in absolute preview, presents the
exhibition “Bye bye baby, Marylin”, a homage to the symbol of the femininity: Marilyn Monroe, 80 images from a private collection.
The exhibition will be held in Palazzo Ducale in Lucca from the 20th of November to the 30th of January. The exhibition, that is dedicated to the great public as well as to the fans of the Diva, is articulated in three sections: great photographers (Richard Avedon, George Barris, John Florea, Tom Kelley, Bert Stern etc.); professional and private life (images of the studios by professional photographers for advertising of films and images that tell the various moments in the life of Marilyn); "Marilyn and collective desire" ( the myth through a series of rare and funny objects inspired by the Diva).
